THE PROJECT:
On this project, TSUG electric was awarded the job. During the bid phase, SSLNYNJ assisted Concord engineers on an alternate design as the building’s footprint was not going to be able to fit the equipment nor have the equipment on site per the proposed schedule. SSLNYNJ proposed a design for them which contained an Outdoor 750KVA Cast coil substation with a 5KV breaker switchgear line up. This overall footprint would work with the existing pad dimensions and meet the lead time Kean University has proposed. We worked with JST Power Equipment who will be supplying this equipment and it is targeted to be on site by mid-January 2023.
