Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ is a power and distribution equipment supplier servicing the metro New York and New Jersey markets. Our mission is to aid consultants in the design stage for customized equipment applications, work with contractors on bidding technically and commercially compliant projects, and support our contractor partners in packaging and bidding the correct equipment. Our project focus is on substation packages, switchyards, replacement transformers, power distribution centers, and SCADA systems.

SSLNYNJ is also recognized and certified by the Port Authority NY&NJ as a DBE and by the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Nassau County, New Jersey, and New York as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

Andres Gracia

President

Andres Gracia is the President of Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ. Andres has been involved in the electrical industry for over 23 years in various capacities including manufacturing, distribution and contracting segments of the business. Andres attended New Jersey Institute of Technology for Industrial Engineering. Andres has worked for Siemens Energy and Automation, Cooper Electric / Sonepar and Crescent Electric Supply Company. The time spent at each of these companies enables Andres to commercially address and technically add value to every phase of a project for each level of customer (consultant, general contractor, owner, electrical contractor, or agency). Andres has been married for over 14 years and has two beautiful children. Andres enjoys watching his children play baseball and gymnastics, and spending time with his family.

Michael LaMagna

Account Manager

Mike LaMagna is the Account Manager for Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ. Mike has over 40 years of experience in the electrical industry, holding various sales and management positions with major manufacturers such as EBASCO, Anaconda, GE, Siemens, and most recently PACS Industries, a medium voltage OEM. His experience within the OEM and Industrial/Utility/Transit markets will be invaluable as SSL continues to expand its growth in these areas. Mike has been married for over 36 years and is the father of 4 married children with 7 grandchildren. Mike enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and family and has a passion for the Church in addition to sharing the Good News.

Maribel Robinson

Sales Representative

Maribel Robinson is the Account Manager for Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ.  Maribel worked in the hotel and restaurant industry as the Sales and Marketing Manager with both Intercontinental and Starwood hotels for over six years. Maribel is an upbeat extremely energetic individual who loves a fun social atmosphere & laughter is her best medicine.  Maribel enjoys watching her 2 boys play sports, hanging out with friends, & spending time with her family.

Maribel has been with the company since August of 2010.

Eleni Herns

Project Manager

Eleni Herns is the Project Manager for Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ. Eleni graduated from New Jersey City University in May of 2012, completing her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Accounting. Eleni is married and has two beautiful young children. Eleni loves traveling, exploring, the beach, attending her son and daughter’s sporting activities, and spending time with her family and friends. Eleni has been with the company since May of 2012.

    Joe Caiola is the Account Executive at Switchgear Solutions NY & NJ and brings over 10 years experience in the power distribution industry. Joe holds two degrees from New Jersey Institute of Technology; a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Science in Engineering Management. Joe was married in July 2022 and enjoys auto sports, wakeboarding, hiking, skiing and traveling
